Hello all,
I have a gen 3 XPA-7 which I need to add to channels to. From my understanding this is a modular amp and it's possible to add channels. Has anyone done this? What are the options? Can I find what I need on the emotiva store?
THanks
Justin

THanks Justin It's my understanding that you have to send the amp in to change its configuration, in other words adding channels is not an end user option. I believe you have to pay to send the amp to them, but the labor is included in the cost of the board. They then pay return shipping. This is all from memory from reading of someone who did it, so I may not be exactly right, but you do have to send it in or take it to an authorized dealer. I'd call them Monday to get the exact details.

That's what I learned after more reading, thank you. I believe it's 300 per though. In any case, I decided to just add an A-300 since I'm just looking to power 2 height speakers. Easier and cheaper.
