Hi guys
Need some directions before I go to make any purchase and then realized the setup I have in mind is not do-able. I'm currently using a PT-100 pre-amp + A300 for my stereo setup for music. For movies I have a soundbar + a powered sub. I want to ditch the soundbar, add a center channel to my stereo setup and turn it to a 3.1 system. The PT-100 has a sub-out and since it is mono, I'm wondering if I can split it so one end goes to my current powered sub. Then the other end will goes to another amp powering a center channel. I'm thinking to get a smaller amp like a A-100 and bridge it to mono. Does it sound reasonable? or will I fry my equipment. Thanks in advance for any input.

With th PT-100 you have no way to decode a center channel, let alone reproduce it discretely, regardless of what you call it, it’s stereo. If you want 3.1 get an XMC-1, and amps.
