Hi 405x5 - Could you summarize what they say for me? The page won't let me look at it unless I accept their cookies & turn off my ad-blocker (and I won't).

Cheap=cheap, expensive=expensive. There MAYBE a slight difference.

I was impressed that it seems to “throw a soundstage like no other”
It is probably so good that redigitising the audio to apply Dirac Live room correction or bass management would destroy this capability.
It can however be connected to the Emotiva G3P Analogue inputs and heard in reference stereo but the black mamba secretions needed for the RCA connectors is prohibitively expensive and dangerous to extract.
Shame. I for one, would love to be “hearing the thermionic hiss of the tubes as they age.”

This latest venture into “The Superior DAC” reminded me of how long it’s been. The first time I recall a well heeled client having the sell put on for a serious DA converter was every bit of 30 years ago. That time was probably the height of brainstorming about why some of those CD’s sounded so harsh compared to others.
