In your review of the GR1 you found them a bit too V-curve equalised at your taste and in your Solaris amp review you said: "The sound from Solaris was universally excellent, with a slight bass emphasis that should come in very handy when using electrostatics. It seems to have a bit of a house-curve built in rather than being ruler-flat and to my ears it sounds very good. It brought my dynamic headphones to life". Maybe the combination of both together is to much, and multiplying the life like and fuller effect? just my 2 cents.

Perhaps. But I also thought they sounded recessed and bloated driven off the PC. They sounded better from Solaris.
