I normally treat the Emotiva Lounge as a WYSIWIG editor that you can throw HTML tags into as you see fit. Sometimes, the site leaves my HTML alone and displays it properly. Other times, it rewrites my code, throwing in div and /div tags and then rewriting my graphics tags. Is this an artifact of ProBoards, or is it unique to the Emotiva Lounge? Provided that my text and graphics display properly, I don't really mind - UNLESS...
If I have to go back and edit any part of my post. Then, I often have to contend with a bunch of changes to my HTML that I'm not so familiar with. Is there a way I can tell ProBoards NOT to rewrite my tags? I find the most disruption when I'm using bulleted lists, graphics tags where I'm specifying the position on the page and/or the graphic's size, and when I'm trying to insert hyperlinks using the "a href=..." format.
I learned my (little) HTML back decades ago. So newer tags are Greek to me.
Thanks - Boom

I think it's a ProBoards thing, but might actually be something Emotiva has disabled for continuity. I've tried to use pretty standard text formatting - for background color - and it's never worked.

Good riddance to anything blinking It can be irritating, but is sometimes useful - "READ THIS FIRST" or "REBOOT THE COMPUTER NOW" or "PUSH THIS IGNITION BUTTON BEFORE THE FURNACE PURGE CYCLE IS COMPLETE AND YOU DIE, FOOL!"
