XSP Preamp. Been in box in 'new' condition for 6-7 years. Decided to get it out and set it up for my son-in-law. Powers up beautifully and all lights are in working order. No output whatsoever into my XPA-1 monoblocks or XPA Gen 2 5 channel amp. Weirdly, the headphone output is hot and plays music from CD player hooked up. I've removed cabinets and checked fuses both in the power supply area and the outer area of the unit. None blown. I've changed all cables and switched them around to make sure they were working with documented 'good' gear.
I want to give this to my son-in-law for his KHorns which he bought used.
Any advice would be appreciated. Patrick

Two things come to mind. Have you checked that they mute has not been engaged. There are fuses to the best of my recollection visible once the lid is removed, however those are not the power supply fuses. Yet another cover has to be removed to access those. When you say the PS area has been checked is this what you are referring to? Otherwise you would be best advised to call the folks at Emotiva for trouble shooting.

What source(s) have you tried? Have you selected the correct output number for your source?
