Anyone know what the most important panels would be for placement here? Also location?

In that space, I would just use the headphones. The sub up against a door (is that a hollow core?) isn't something I would do for many reasons. And, the speakers are so near-field that you might as well just put on the cans and skip the speakers.

Wife is moving me to the basement. “Thank god” I get to build my new room to spec. I guess that posses another question. What would be the perfect room size for near field listening.

That makes more sense. And, at least your wife is not moving you to the doghouse. From my point of view, if - by near field listening - you mean while sitting at a desk, I honestly don't think there's a "perfect" sized room. At a desk, a pair of good quality powered computer speakers are quite good in all but a closet and good quality headphones are good even in a closet. If you mean a very small room and not sitting at a desk but sitting in a chair a few feet away, I've had rooms that were as small as ~10' x 12' and created a great system in it. So - exactly what do you mean my "near field"? What would be your usage situation? Mark

So the current room is actually 9’ x 12’ but it’s also L shaped and has an area about 6x8 to the left of the closet door. it’s looks smaller because of the picture. But the new room will be whatever the heck I want because I’m building it. Starting the basement January 1st. But yes my new room in my mind has a desk that’s about 7-8ft wide and is closer to the center of the room.

Net, it's just a matter of a bigger room potentially? Or, would you be making a dedicated 2-channel listening room that's not near field? And, if it's just near field...what's the listening scenario? Are you just listening to music as you do work at your desk or...what? Mark

It’s going to be a purposeful built room for two channel music listening. I guess I didn’t even think I could set up a more traditional room with a nice lazy boy. I’ll probably keep using a desk in a near field setup. But the desk may be more centered in the room with the speakers on stands.

In that case, if you will be mainly doing 2-channel with some desk listening, I'd take a radically different approach than your OP would have indicated.
From what I see, you have a BasX A100. That's a great basic 2-channel amp AND a great headphone amp. If you want to build your system around that, I would worry less about room treatments and size based on audio and more about "how much room do you need as an office?" Which drives your priorities? How big does your office need to be?
