What can cause the MAC address to change ? Mine went in for a fault and its come back with a different MAC address, all the inputs are labeled differently and it wont read my memory stick. Can memory stick settings only be loaded from unit that created it ? Thanks

I can't address the memory stick issue, but the Dirac License is tied directly to the MAC address, so the new MAC will need to be registered.

The overall settings are completely different, all the HDMI slots named differently, display defaults to off. Will try another factory reset tomorrow. Thanks

Probably just sent you a new or refurb to get you going while they fix it and put it with the refurbs.

Factory reset, then i try and load settings, it doesnt look at USB, it was trying to load a corrupted internal file. So Factory reset, saved those settings, now the corrupted one has gone. But it doesnt recognise USB, will try reformat.. Re-registered MAC address for Dirac. So at least I'm further forward...

Have you tried another USB stick? Sometimes for whatever reason these processors are finicky about recognizing USB sticks even if they are the same brand/model USB stick.

Reformatted USB to Fat32, cant see it in front or rear slot. Tried 2 different sticks, including one from Emotiva. Last hope that as Dirac isn't registered and settings include a Dirac file.....will see when MAC address gets known to Dirac.
