Except I will point out that every single one of your body's cells is crawling with mRNA. It's the Central Dogma of Biology: RNA Polymerase transcribes DNA to create an RNA copy. That RNA Copy is edited within the Cell Nucleus to create Messenger RNA (mRNA). The mRNA leaves the Nucleus and is translated to the Protein Strands coded for by the mRNA by Ribosomes. The only thing happening with an mRNA Vaccine is, rather than inject you with pieces of Protein Strands which represent recognizable pieces of a Pathogen, instead they inject you with the instructions (mRNA) for your cells to construct those Proteie Strands themselves.

Do you believe that a Pharma company can afford to put a harmful product on the market and expect to survive the ensuing lawsuits? Just askin'... The Pharmas that are distributing the SARSCovid2 vaccine is a big YES. They have no liabilities with this product. mRNA products not for me thank you. The last product rushed to the market was thalidomide. Nothing went wrong there, right?
Thalidomide was NOT rushed to market in the US. The birth defects in the US occurred during unregulated clinical trials. That is why we now have very regulated trials, thanks to Congress passing the 1962 Kefauver-Harris Amendments.

I got the Moderna shot about three weeks ago. My arm did not react, but I did feel light headed for a few. Maybe psychosomatic.
Just learned I have post viral fatigue disorder. After the covid 10 to 30 percent of patients have lingering shortness of breath and fatigue usually lasting from three months to three years. I thought it was wearing the mask at work, but it was that I am still dealing with the rona.
Makes sense why I.did not pick it up at work.

The Governor of Louisiana, in defiance of the CDC recommendations, has specified that only those older than 70 are eligible to receive a vaccination in this State. Hence, no vaccine for me until the man changes his mind. I hope I make it to 70...

My Mom got her 2nd shot this week. I'm very hopeful that soon she will be able to resume group dining and group activities at her Senior Living Center. The isolation has not been good for her.
So far, from her (age 86) and her younger sister and brother, they have not have any side effects. A 93 year old woman in my water aerobics class was just telling me she got hers a while ago...I think she wanted to tell me so she could brag a bit about her age. She told me and grinned. I'll tell you - if I can have her mental acuity and physical condition when I am 93, I will be thrilled. She's a delight!
At my age (58), I've got a few weeks before Ohio will be to my age group. But, I'm impressed with the progress.

My wife is a pharmacist at an independent pharmacy in a medical building, and from talking to her patients and the doctors and staff who have been vaccinated, and obviously this is anecdotal and should not be the basis for any decision about anything, it seems like the Moderna vaccine hits people harder than the others and older people tend to have lighter reactions, so she speculated that, in an ideal (and impossible) world, the medical community would figure out who should get what vaccine.

My wife is a teacher. She received her second shot yesterday. Pfizer. Just some arm soreness and feeling a bit tired.
Not sure when I will get mine or which one.

I just want to confirm that several states have a 70+ vaccination ‘phase’ in place now, when ‘most’ states are at 65+ phase. Utah (where I winter) is a 70+ state, as are nearby Wyoming and Montana. I’ve heard some Utahan’s are driving to Nevada where they can get vaccinated at 65 (I’m considering the drive myself).

I have no objections to posting actual guidelines from the CDC and state issued guidelines. When it comes to one's own "subjective" feelings on the SarCov2 virus, this is where some members just can't fight the urge to inject politics and we all know where that road leads.

Wife got the second shot 2 days ago. Most of her peers' experiences were if they had problems with the first shot, the 2nd shot was worse. She did have some discomfort yesterday (her day 2) but took ibuprofen every 4-6hrs, and/or aspirin, and it never really got close to as bad as she felt from the first shot. She said what is most surprising is all the elderly that get it (she works at several nursing homes) never seem to even notice it (either shot) other than the arm soreness you would/could get from any shot. Btw, no third nipple growing from either shot - yet....
