Hi
I just brought an rmc-1l. Before firing up calibration through Dirac, do I need to specify my speaker distance or set them to zero for dirac to work ?
Where is the crossover setting ? In the menu setup I can only see crossover slope?
Do I need to reposition my mic in the Dirac setup or can I keep it in 1 spot? I am doing wide sound calibration.
Regards

Regards Dirac does not use the distance settings you've input into the system. It will adjust for distance in it's own measurements and filter creation so what you set only matters for the "User" EQ slot. When you set any given speaker to "small" you can then arrow to the right to set the crossover of that speaker or pair of speakers. You must change the mic position for each set of measurements (9 position, 13 position or 17 position) and Dirac will guide you with the placement with the onscreen graphics.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Another question... when I adjust the sound pressure of the speakers in Dirac setup, I do not see a green zone as shown in the following picture from Dirac Set up guide. I only see a blue zone as shown in the second pic below. I have downloaded the latest version of Dirac. Regarding sound pressure, should all my speakers including subwoofer be set to -27 db or -16 db ? Screenshot from Dirac setup guide: My screen:

Obviously the guys at Dirac have changed the way the screen looks a little bit. Just set the level around the middle of the colored stripe zone thingy and you'll be fine.
