I had a super cheap subscription.. $3CAD for a month for 3 months. I cancelled it after 3 days because despite "training" the algorithm to recommend things like classic rock, jazz, blues, it still kept recommending rap and hip-hop. I hope they have fixed that but it's worth pplaying with it for a few days to see if it's suited to your needs.

Not a single rap or R&B album on my collection, yet it continually pushes those genres for suggestions. Every new track, music video, and artist... I don't think I'm going to keep it after this year is up.

Jamie I still feel like Spotify’s suggested playlist are in a class by themselves compared to other streaming services. I have Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon HD and I listen to Spotify 90% of the time because their Daily Mix playlist are so good.

I would not be surprised if Tidal lost customers to Spotify, if Spotify were to offer lossless. If Spotify offered lossless, AND ATMOS, it could spell the end of Tidal.

Just informing that Tidal gives major discounts for active military and veterans also. I had tidal using the military discount. Was good but I didn't really listen enough to make the expense worth it.

My guess is the market for lossless is so small it's not worth it to Spotify, although Amazon seems to think otherwise. II primarily use Spotify for my outdoor music and on my airpods (super nice that now it can stream directly form the apple watch so when I run I do not have to carry my phone). Apple music is integrated into my home pods at the house. We have five of them now (the big ones and the new minis), and the ability to say "hey siri play XYZ) is worth $10 a month to me. Amazon HD is what I use when doing critical listening through my bluesound Node. It is likely the first one I would cancel since I just don't really use it enough to justify the $12.99 a month for it. If either Apple or Spotify did a HD service I would cancel the Amazon one.
