Good morning. I have been recently shopping around for a good quality 2 way or 3 way stand-mount speakers that I can bi-wire for my smaller sized room. My listening space is 13x16x7.5 feet. The current modest system I am using is an Audiolab 6000A integrated, with its matching 6000CDT transport + a tubedac- 11. The electronics are working out very well for the size of my room, but the problem is, I have too much speaker for the actual size of my space. I am running a pair of Paradigm Monitor 11v7s. After taking into account for the spacing of and around the towers, I'm pretty much nearfield at around 5ft away from the drivers. A friend of mine bought some Wharfedale EVO 4.2s, and after seeing and listening to them, I believe they are also too much speaker for the room I have. I have not listened to the 4.1s, but I feel that those are the right sized speakers for smaller spaces like mine. So, my point is, that I really wish Emotiva would build a high quality bi-wire and bi-amp capable stand-mount speakers for all of us that have smaller listening spaces. With all the excellent reviews and accolades the T2s have received, I know you can build a killer larger stand-mount, or as we call them, bookshelf speakers, for the customers that really want to separate the woofers from the tweeters at the speaker terminal. I know that bi-wiring isn't always beneficial, but personally, I have had greater success doing it than single wire termination. I have had a few years to test the theory, I'm over 50. I am certain you would sell these stand-mounts like hot cakes. Build them, and they will come!
