This all seems so strange... Only one question, but how does it sound; does the sound please you? this may be one of my least favorite questions on this forum. It basically states that Emotiva can deliver a different sound with every FW, but as long as you are happy with the sound, then.. It's alllll good. Edit: this wasn't an attack. It's just my observation, opinion and "how it personally makes me feel when people say this statement"

That's not quite my meaning; it's that in the pursuit of all these techno details the real pursuit sometimes seems like it gets missed.
Cheers,

Cheers, Sorry, I edited my comment before I realized you responded. I didn't think you intended to be "dismissive". But, I wanted to provide a different perspective from those that hear it as dismissive. Constantly changing sonic characteristics should be something that inspires all of us to ask "why" whether we are happy or not.

Cheers, That seems to say we shouldn’t enjoy learning or talking about our hobby. Each of us will have an interest to a specific level of detail, and most probably never even read this thread because their not interested at all. Loudness is a new feature with the latest firmware, some will want to talk about it, obviously by the title they like the sound.
