Any pro wood workers or experienced painters? I'm looking for that Piano high gloss finish - should of had the option done when ordering my cabinets but I didn't. As far as I aware I can't simply spray Clear Lacquer over the paint already laid on my cabinets because it might cause it to wrinkle bubble etc. The paint used by Tekton appears to be water based made by Benjamin Moore. Any tips on how to get a high glossy finish?
Also, has anyone ever used Acrylic Clear UV Protection to spray on paper cones? The paint protection is used in photography to preserve pictures etc they should be safe on paper cones.

Do what the manufacturers do - spray paint or vinyl wrap it an ugly black and then pretend that it's "high tech."

“Any tips on how to get a high glossy finish?” Yep...order it from the factory.... Unless you want a serious case of Joe Homeowner the cabinet has to be gutted first. “Also, has anyone ever used Acrylic Clear UV Protection to spray on paper cones? Bill Hi Bill, Of course I'd do good prep work and gut the cabinets first. Being experienced w/ auto body work I do realize a paint job is only as good as the prep work. Whenever the sun comes through the windows and beats down on the speakers I think about that UV protection on the paper cones. Tis why I was inquiring. Edit: Just applied the UV clear coat to both 12" subs in each tower which are paper cones. Guess an added benefit is that they are now shiny: As is now I'm thinking "Resin" would be my best bet and the most pro results for the cabinets. Here's an example of resin over wood. Note the deep gloss finish:

Hi Deleted, I like your picture and the “Beachbumlivn” sig. in the bottom right corner! It reminded me of my first project of using high gloss epoxy resin, which was back in 1972, on a O’Brien wood slalom ski. The company had its own marketed formula called Uniplast! Mirror finish like this and tough as nails to protect the laminate from splintering. Bill

I've ditched Dirac Live and room correction preferring the natural frequency response of the Ulfberhts. This is a measurement center tweeter in height and 1 meter in front of the speaker. I'm assuming that the measurement might of been better [though the room would factor in more] greater than one meter in front because the speaker is 73" tall. As you're suggesting w/ so many speakers being only 1 meter in front of the towers, well, this was the in room result at the time from such distance:

For movies I don't mind it.
