I can't wait to get me one of those! The added ground next to the balanced connections and the power socket on the back were a nice touch. But, I really like the "Free Bird" option. What does that do? Does it take any song and add driving guitar sound and a slight southern accent to the vocals? If so, I can't wait to hear my Culture Club collection with that setting! Mark It stops whatever you are listening to and automatically starts playing Free Bird stored in the built-in RAM.

Gotta get me one a those! Got lots a floppies layin' around. What about the possibility of FW upgrade to read 2.88mb floppies for 6 minutes of material per disc? In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida would only take 3 discs! But think, do you REALLY want to go with those new fangled unproven technologies? What was so wrong with the originals @ 1.44 MB? Stick with what WORKS. (And when it doesn't work, slide that metal thing aside and blow on it and see if that helps).

It's high-resolution! Maybe they should have Dirac on it!

The ERC-FD, the ERC-8T, and ERC-3, my XMC-2, and heck...the blinker sound on a car's turn signal! Mark

I mean, if you did offer it you would just discontinue it within two weeks anyway...so there's that I guess.

Actually the High Capacity 2.88 megabyte Sony Floppy Disc could change the world here.

I just caught the first part of the email video in the car. I was thinking where I would watch the video and if I would want to replace my Squeezebox Touch with the Emotiva media player. And brilliant, they told nobody about it so they did not get hassled to death! I wonder . . . I wonder what the date is today.
So you had me.
I was hooked.
Not for long, but my mouth is sore!

A good joke, but a sad one. Emotiva should have offered a streamer years ago, and we're still waiting for it. The world moves on and Emotiva continues to spend their engineering budget on home theater at the expense of their stereo lineup. Sad...
