Just had the Catalytic Convertor stolen from my car as it SAT IN THE DRIVE.
Dealer with all dealer stuff wanted OVER 4000$ for fix, which I was about to get the whole thing done for <1000$ with a CARB approved Catalyst.....
Poliice continue to take reports and frequent donut and taco shops.....

While I play drums, I’ve got a bunch of signed guitars hanging in my loft. Unfortunately, a few years ago my other house in AZ got burglarized and had five signed guitars stolen. They’ve never been recovered. 😠 That’s awful, sorry you’ve had to go through that. And yes, the kit looks great! |

Yeah, it was a major headache not only losing my valuable stuff but also dealing with the insurance company. Feeling violated barely describes the emotions.
I custom-ordered that kit. Expensive but the exotic Tamo (Japanese Ash) is stunning in person. I've also got another smaller Pearl kit in wine red that is also very nice.

parasites, mainly, who stand little chance of being caught except by sheerest accident of stupidity.......And then they sell the cats to UNSCRUPULOUS metals dealers who reclaim the valuable Platinum, Rhodium and Palladium......Other metals, too....

Poliice continue to take reports and frequent donut and taco shops..... This is very popular here. A friend of ours heard a noise outside around midnight. Two guys were attempting to cut the Cat off of his Expedition with a portable SawzAll. They got half way done when he came out. They jumped in their running Beamer and sped off. Common occurrence here in So Cal. They didn’t get the Cat but he did have to have his pipe rewelded. |

I'm not sure that stealing a cat converter is illegal anymore in California......
Battery Operated Sawz-All should be licensed and blade sales run thru something like the way we must buy AMMO here in California.....
Posession of an Unregistered Saws-All? Felony....
