Well, if they do come out with a replacement I hope that they put a position indicator on the volume knob.

I use my A-100 exclusively(in a headphone setup) with a DC-1, Tascam CD-200SB and Sennheiser HD600/Emotiva GR1 headphones. Definitely no lack of power and great sound!!!

Well, if they do come out with a replacement I hope that they put a position indicator on the volume knob. A small dot of whiteout may do the trick? Ideally they would place a colored indentation mark but a workaround could... work.

Totally crazy there is no indicator. Well, silly at least. Ergonomics 101 folks. How loud is it? Uh, well....um....guess. Uh No! Indicator mandatory!

Totally crazy there is no indicator. Well, silly at least. Ergonomics 101 folks. How loud is it? Uh, well....um....guess. Uh No! Indicator mandatory! Use ears? All that extra graphics and such CAN clutter a real clean front panel? White Acrylic paint @walmart is 1$, than you might need either a q-tip or toothpick for applicator. I see 200$ on site! I'm even tempted.......The last word in garage amps! As for that level indicator? I see NO marks on the vol control knob. MY FIX, if you think you need one? Fit a 1/8" bit in your drill. A SHARP / NEW bit is best, though maybe a brad point would do. Turn level control to full CCW. Drill a TINY depression....NOT A FULL-ON HOLE at about the 7 O'Clock point. Fill with a tiny dab of WHITE paint or the color of YOUR choice. Walmart is selling tiny bottles of Acrylic for 1$, good for a hundred of these marks. Keep a wet cloth handy (damp, I suppose is good) to wipe off any 'excess' paint....You just want to fill the dimple you made with the drill. I recentlly did the same to a carpenters SpeedSquare. Grey Plastic and to MY eyes? Illegible. So I painted on RED Acrylic and wiped off the excess. NOW I can read the darn thing.

Nope Leonski. If a manufacture cannot make an indent with a bit of paint for you, it is not the complete. I stop making excuses for poor ergonomics. Especially for an amplifier as bitchin' as this one. This is a special amplifier. I am curious how Emotiva tops this one. I hope they don't go in the wrong direction. but it is annoying a small mark on the knob is not there. Just saying.

Decisions were made at all phases of this amp from first glimmer of an idea thru boxing of first for sale. Somebody decided on a certain....aestetic...if you will, for the front panel. Not my call so NOW, it's a take or leave proposition. My work around can be done to look like it came that way. I'll take WHITE, but that's just me..... I'm more concerned with the decent speaker binding posts....I remember those 'clips' which came with a whole generation of earlier gear...... Use for headphone ONLY system? Or with more sensitive speakers in a dorm or add-on room.....

I hear, ya, man, but I will just say that SOMEONE in the design / execution phase decided NOT to put a mark on the level control. And this is something which I hope we'd agree would cost PENNIES (or Pesos) per amp. Would you put such a mark? Sounds like a 'yes'. Would I? for sure. I'd even say to make the dot in the SAME color as the logo and name.....It'd all match....
