I'm surprised I haven't be Exiled (by acclaim) to Devils Island......or Catalina!
I'm almost dome wth the Chips for THIS year.......Next up? More fresh bread THAN
I'll dig up a good Chocolate Chip Oatmeal recipe..

Catalina? INDIANS populatied it with with Rattlers.....than later, the Gringos put BUFFALO on the island.
Basically ONE town on the island and it's swarming with tourists a LOT of the time......
The only good custodians were the WRIGLEY family of chewing gum and Chicago Cubs fame.....Still a small ballpark on the island.
ANY activities in the water are wonderful. Hell, I'd tie up to one of the floats in Avalon and sit on boat and get plastered. Maybe take
the taxi to shore for a Nice Dinner somewhere, a short walk down to the Casino than 'home'......
I'd like to spend some time in Crescent City.......near Six Rivers NF where I could do some nice photography AND search for BigFoot......
I only made about 7 dozen cookies. I weigh them to 28g +-1 each before baking.

Actually I was only in the city of Avalon once and on land of a secluded Catalina shoreline a couple times. But on dive boats and in the water all around the island maybe a dozen times. Catalina is a great place for diving, beautiful waters and underwater shorelines. Beautiful above water shorelines too and sometimes you can even see some of the buffalo roaming around. OK I'll take half a dozen cookies! |

I also did a lot of diving at Catalina, and the other Channel Islands, and I love cookies (arguably my favorite desert), but this is not a desert thread. If you don’t want to try and get into the spirit of the OP, you can’t divert the topic by pointing at the man behind the curtain.
