[ NEW NOTES REGARDING PT2 AND TA2 - UPDATED ON 3/4/2024 ]
It appears that recent updates to Windows 11 have affected how various USB audio drivers work with our PT2 and TA2.
We have had several reports that Windows 11 now includes built-in drivers that work well with the PT2 and TA2.
We have also had reports that the drivers we provide now DO NOT work very well in Windows 11.
BASED ON THIS WE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING:
- When connecting your PT2 or TA2 to a new computer running Windows 11 TRY THE BUILT-IN WINDOWS DRIVERS FIRST.
If the built-in drivers work well then continue to use them and DO NOT install the drivers from here.
- If you have been successfully using our drivers with your PT2 or TA2 and Windows 11, but start having problems like "stuttering" and "dropouts"...
Try UNINSTALLING our drivers and allowing Windows to install the default Windows drivers.
TO UNINSTALL/REINSTALL DRIVERS (in Windows 11)...
- DO THE FOLLOWING WITH THE PT2 or TA2 CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER VIA USB, AND TURNED ON, AND YOUR COMPUTER CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET
- type Device Manager in the Search Box
- in Device Manager go to Sound, Video, And Game Controllers
- under Sound, Video, And Game Controllers highlight the drivers for SXWRP32768
- RIGHT CLICK on the SXWRP32768 drivers
- select UNINSTALL DEVICE (this will uninstall the existing drivers)
- now UNPLUG THE USB CABLE FROM YOUR PT2 OR TA2
- now REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER
- now, after the computer finishes booting up, RECONNECT THE USB CABLE FROM YOUR PT2 OR TA2
- your computer should now install the latest internal Windows drivers for your PT2 or TA2
- once the reinstall is finished you should be good to go

[ UPDATE 8/29/2022 ]
We have confirmed that these drivers also work with Windows 11 Pro.
The same instructions apply.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This post contains the link for the latest USB AUDIO DRIVERS for the PT1, TA1, PT2, and TA2 (as of 2022/08/29)
The USB audio inputs on the PT1 and TA1 support sample rates up to 24/192k.
For Apple computers that support USB Audio Class 2 output devices you will NOT need to install any additional drivers.
For Windows 10 computers YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THESE USB AUDIO DRIVERS.
For Windows 11 computers YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THESE USB AUDIO DRIVERS.
(We have been told that the drivers also work with Windows 8.1 - although we have limited details.)
For Windows 11 computers YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THESE USB AUDIO DRIVERS.
(We have been told that the drivers also work with Windows 8.1 - although we have limited details.)
You may download the Windows driver installer program from this link:
To install these drivers simply download and run the driver installer program.
* Download the executable file and double click on it.
* If you receive a security warning from Windows or your antivirus program grant the installer program permission to "modify your computer".
* You can run the file from a USB stick or directly from your hard drive.
NOTE:
Once the drivers are installed your PT1/PT2 or TA1/TA2 will show up in the device list as "Speaker SXWP32768..."
(This is the name of their USB audio interface chip.)
NOTE:
If you ever wish to remove these drivers you must do so using the "Remove App" option in Windows 10 or Windows 11.
(If you don't do this you may not be able to reinstall the drivers later.)
