Magnolia Design Centers sell it. The Design Center I deal with doesn't know if McIntosh will let them display this model yet, but they can order them now.
$14,999.98 each, and they can discount 5%, which I was surprised about, but if buying two then that will pay the tax for one.

No price on the page. Like going to a restaurant and looking at a menu with no prices. If you have to ask, you can't afford it!! How many of those are actually purchased in a year?

It’s 15k, a brand new model.
More will be sold than you can imagine. That’s $15k per monoblock.

Mcintosh is massively expanding their manufacturing facilities and employee base in Binghamton NY. Guess they’ve cracked the high end code they invented in 1949.

Gibson Archtops, Fender Telecasters or Stratocasters, Harley motorcycles, McIntosh Audio - all revered and classic American marques.
They all had it right the first time.
Many times, hard or impossible to improve upon originals.....when all attributes are considered.

I found info stating that the 1971 price for the original amp was $1099, which was about 1/6 the cost of a nicely configured Corvette, which was $6,800 at my local Chevy dealer back then when I used to go sit in the cars.
Fast forward to today, and $14,999 is a bit more percentage wise of the cost of a Corvette Stingray. 1/6 the cost of a nicely configured Corvette today is about $13,000.
The point of my exercise is to show that this price doesn't seem out of line vs what the original amp was back when it was new. In fact, it's pretty amazing to me that it's this close.

Not McIntosh….however I received an email from Bob Carvers website today about new high end tube amplifiers. If you’re nuts for that stuff looks to be right up your alley….
