The front man for a favorite band of the 60’s, 70’s, and beyond, Gary Brooker’s songwriting, voice, and piano were the centerpiece of Procol Harum’s Music. Besides their big hits, “A Whiter Shade of Pale”, “Conquistador”, and others, I especially like the “A Salty Dog” album, with “Pilgrim’s Progress” a fave.

I played the albums repeatedly, especially the song Conquistador. Great band, great music, and Robin Trower.
