Don't get your pants all wet over it. Mids will still suffer with a design like that. Kappa 9 speakers dip to 1 ohm. It doesn't make them sound any better. You can remove the 'tank' circuit from an AR9 and make them 2 ohm (and dip lower) but they don't sound better and most people who have tried this go back to using the tank circuit. Probably because their amps are overworking, overheating and no longer sounding good. You are quite right about the mid-range which IMO are the heart of the music. No offense to the reviewer but he was heavily into the BASS performance of the Tekton.
