XDA-2 Issue

My XDA-2 has an intermittent clicking coming out of the right channel when playing a CD or DVD and laptop. This happens when using the optical and usb input.

I went through an elimination process and eliminated the speakers, CD/DVD player, XPA 2 Gen 3, laptop and the MC-700. If the CD/DVD player and laptop are connected directly to the MC-700 the issue of intermittent clicking is eliminated.

Any thoughts on this issue, how to fix or what part needs to be repaired?

 I would appreciate anyone's opinion. Thanks

Time for a new DAC
