Very emotional visit today to Fort Adams, in Newport, RI. My wife and I drove from North Eastern Massachusetts to spend Memorial Day in Newport. The Boots in the Ground NGO honored the soldiers fallen in the line of duty with a display in the inner courtyard of the fort. One row for each state, one boot and photography for each soldier.    |
