RIP
I loved his versatility. He was able to combine his talents with, and bring together, so many great artists.
I'll be watching The Last Waltz this weekend.

Damn, another great one gone. It sucks to be watching so many pioneers I loved from my teenage years leaving us.

I'll be watching The Last Waltz this weekend.Such an excellent film and performance, I remember that compared to the others (like Rick Danko and Richard Manuel) Robbie’s performance seemed a bit lackluster, but he had created the characters the others were playing. Quite a talent.

R.I.P.
When that album “the band“ was released, it was two years before I was old enough to get a drivers license, and very impressionable about many things, not the least of which was my taste in music. I bought that album back then, and I was never quite sure why. I tried very hard to like it, and I simply couldn’t. (at that time of being impressionable about music type.I was swept away by jazz big time.)
