Man O man, it's been awhile gang! I'd love to make it! Didn't get an email, likely since I've been MIA for awhile. Thanks to Vincent to giving me a heads up, as I'd love to reconnect and make some new Emofriends!
Derek (LOL, just saw my profile picture. It has been awhile! I don't look that young anymore and I have LOTS more hair lol!) (Update, profile updated...)

That I know of, this makes five of us Lounge members and a couple of wives thus far, and it looks like a few others as well. Sounds like this "Tru By Hilton" is now the Unofficial Official EmoFest 2024 hotel!

Nice!!! I couldn't talk the GF into coming down for a Nerdy day at Emotive LOL When it was going to be in Nashville we talked about it but the change of location took away her interest.

A word of warning from a local: Nashville traffic has become increasingly worse over the years. Weekends may be different, but weekdays are a parking lot. We haven't begun to hit rush hour and it's currently 30 min to Nashville and 40 minutes to BNA from Tru in Cool Springs. YMMV.

Thanks for the heads-up, my plane gets in right before 9pm on that Friday, so by the time I get my rental, 9:30pm at the latest, I figure traffic at that time shouldn’t be too bad. Same with my flight out at 7am, so heading to BNA 5:00-5:15am shouldn’t be bad either on a Sunday morning or should it?

I've been through many times on my way to Alabama the last few years, and you are right...rush hour stinks! But, weekends and non-rush hours are reasonable. I time my drives to avoid their rush hours, for sure. Mark

We've had people parking thier cars on I-40 and walking to the airport during evening rush hours recently because of traffic. But late evenings and weekends aren't much of a problem. Took a certification class in South Nashville (not far from Lane Auto Museum), had to leave by 7:30 am to make it there by 9 am from Murfreesboro.

Regarding Friday night, we might want to get a PM going and exchange numbers so we can coordinate. We'll be getting to the hotel around 4pm Friday so we're good for a dinner.
