Boy, I watched a real STINKER last night! It was called "Jupiter Arising." I only chose to stream it because it featured Milla Kunis. She is far enough up the food chain in Hollywood that she doesn't HAVE to accept bad movies, but either her agent is desperate enough to sign her up to anything that comes along or else she's an idiot. Her previous stinker was called "The Book of Eli." Denzel Washington fell for that one too. OMG it was bad!
Milla does well in romantic comedies, but she shouldn't stray outside that genre, apparently. What the heck tempts good actors and actresses to sign onto pathetic scripts?

LOL I bought Jupiter ascending when it first came out because it was in 3D and because the Wachowskis were involved…… (We all make mistakes LOL) but no, I wouldn’t call it the worst flick I’ve ever seen….. The matrix it isn’t.

I like this popcorn flick because finally, they had gotten away from those miserable Billy Mummy stories from the 1960s that were all shot on the same sandy stage and they got back into being lost in space where they belong lol. Hard to believe 26 years has gone by since this came out.

I saw that during it's first run in the theaters. I was around seven or eight years old and it scared the bejeebers out of me. I wasn't comfortable going down to the basement for a long time after that.

We had a coal furnace in the middle of the basement with ducts coming out of the top that looked like huge arms. The coal bin had no light and going down to put a shovel of coal into the furnace was as scary a moment as I've ever experienced after seeing that movie. I absolutely knew that that old hag was in the coal bin waiting to grab me.

OMG What a long forgotten time. The house myself and 5 roommates rented in college was an old, six bedroom farmhouse. It still had the original coal burning furnace that had been converted to LP and one of those coal rooms. That basement was huge and a little spooky, so it was amazing place for throwing some wild parties.
