I've had the same experience with a lot of movies and TV shows I loved as a kid. Decades later, as an adult, too many of them look so cheesy and are so hokey. The Salem's Lot from the 70s is a recent example. I tried to watch it recently, and could not believe it scared the crap out of 8 year old me. 50+ me was not impressed. By the way, the new one also sucks.

After the Joker Part 2 FIASCO... we watched Lee. We thought it was rather entertaining and liked Kate in the role. If you like her, check out the series called Mare of Easttown. In case you aren't aware, here's a quick recap... the storyline is based on the American photographer Lee Miller, a fashion model who became an acclaimed war correspondent for Vogue magazine during World War II.  |
