A little depressing but excellent imagery and fairly true to the novel Loved the movie and the book too. Also, I live fairly close to the abandoned PA turnpike were they filmed several scenes including the truck coming out of the tunnel. It was bypassed and abandoned in 1968 and has deteriorated since then. You can walk or bike the abandoned turnpike and there are 2 tunnels including the one in the film. I have biked it several times and believe me it's pretty creepy in those tunnels. They are unlit and one is 1.5 miles long and the other is about .5 miles long. This was a perfect place to film a post apocalyptic film for sure.

Disappointing comic adaptation. Uneven story line. I almost fell asleep on my couch. 2/5 stars.

Falling down with Michael Douglas. Hadn't watched that on in 20 years it seems. MD's lifetime performance.

Wasn't sure what to expect out of this movie as I was talked into going out to see this one. Liked the movie but was a little bit disappointed on the ending.

Went and saw The Avengers last night, and yes it was everything I thought it would be. Each and every viewing for last nights Avengers movies were sold out: 2D, 3D and IMAX. I do think Mark Ruffalo did a good job as The Hulk/Bruce Banner, but I think Edward Norton should have been selected to reprise his role.

Completely forgot that I had pre-ordered this on Amazon, thus I came home to a package at the front door! I've gotta say, the DTS-HD MA 7.1 track sure makes great use of the rear and side surrounds.
