It will be over 100 pounds, we think. Price? Not sure yet, but higher than anything we currently have. Nice... 100lbs! Sounds like a major beast! No problem on price... just curious if you already had a target for production... $999, $1200, etc.

Picture is a huge help, thanks! As for price, I would think easily over $2k...using the MPS-2 as a general guide, and the fact that this thing has twice the power.

You are going to need three friends to help you put that monster in your rack... and a case of beer to bribe them with. If you can't find enough people using the beer as a bribe, you could always go out an buy a block-and-tackle. Like the ones they use to pull automobile engines. ;D

Looks like a perfect application for putting the power supply in a separate chassis.

Looks like a perfect application for putting the power supply in a separate chassis. I have a Threshold T2 preamp with the power supply in a separate chassis, but never saw a power amp like that.

I would recommend a x5 or x10 switch for the meters if it won't affect sound quality. I can barely get the meters to move with the RPA analog meters. ;D

Dann G.
Will the meters be able to be set for 4ohm speakers? That way we can actually see them dance lol

Lonnie's original concept of the XPR-7 (with an XPA-1 perched on top for size comparison).

Dann G. Will the meters be able to be set for 4ohm speakers? That way we can actually see them dance lol It is a different metering circuit that is very responsive. There will be quite a bit of 'dancing'.

I'm not diggin' those 7 vertical meters. I'm not a fan of them on my XPA-2 either. I think 7 of them dancing around will look gimmicky...although I'm assuming they can be turned off.
Just my $.02....
