Glad I found this thread, I hooked up my UPS-1 with an Onkyo 886+XPA-2 but I connected without using the High pass. Notice this is a bit different than doing so with pass own preamp..I'll get to working tomorrow.

Fantastic this will well help enormously, as I'm going to brave it to the back of my system later today.
Thanks

Hi,
If I breached any rules, I apologize in advanced (also for this totally noob question.)
Is it possible to have just the USP-1 and a couple UPA-1s for my stereo setup (as you can see, I don't know the difference between a preamp and a processor)? All I would attach to it would be a cd player and my old paradigm export monitors.
Thanks,
Bon

Hey Rawhide,
Yes it is possible to do exactly what you suggested above. Should be a sweet 2-channel rig! Good luck and please keep us posted on your progress..

Setting up an office 2-channel setup and I read where you can't use the "Full Range" outs and HT bypass. Currently I have a Denon 4310, external DAC and Strata Mini speakers. Since the minis are full range that have a sub built in I would want "full range" out from the USP-1....Any suggestions to allow HT Bypass and "full range" out from the USP-1?
Thanks
