I never heard of them... They look sexy with the exception of the grain directions from the front to the sides. I'll bet they sound "bright". ;D
Have you heard them, or have you just seen them in pics?

There are many very bright sounding speakers and it usually has the least to do with source components. A room can magnify an issue, but the problem "usually" starts with the speakers. BTW, my comment about the speakers being bright was me being silly. They very well may not be bright at all. I certainly can't tell from PICTURES! ;D

They look pretty cool I think. I bet they are lots of $$$$$. Does anyone have any idea as to what the devices are in between the speakers or behind the speakers. They don't look like fancy cable lifts. I think they kind of look like a very large versions of the crossovers that you see in car audio door speakers that have separate tweeters and mids.

I've heard them......
very impressive. The comment a friend and I both made was that you not only heard the cymbol, you could actually hear the click as the drumstick hit it.
I'm too cheap (or poor) to pay that kind of $$ but they are sweet .....and they look better in person.

Yea I wasn`t calling you on though`s speakers I was just speaking of bright speakers in general and I haven`t don this any wear but in my room and granted I haven`t tried it with all speakers ,but I have had a few in my time , I would think if I can do it others could too , but of corse just getting the right speaker that works for you in the first place is way easier and more rewording

I've been to a few friend's homes with my previous speakers in the last year or so. It's amazing just how different speakers can and do sound from room to room. However, a bad speaker is bad in all rooms. I have one particular friend who has similar listening tastes to my own. We often comment very similarly on speakers we listen to together. He purchased my previous DAC from me and we both strongly agreed that the DAC sounded far too bright in my setup and his own using the highest up sampling mode. He recently added some room treatments and told me that he now prefers the brighter sounding mode. Goes to show the room's role in "brightness", and he doesn't have "bright" speakers. I'm trying to figure out some room treatments for my room. I'm having the room analyzed first to find out where any problem areas are, then I'll treat them in what hopefully will be some cool looking creative way.

I've been trying to track down a dealer since my store would never carry anything in this price range, but cant find one who carries them on hand. These are supposed to be VERY different from everything else Klipch has. Supposidly not bright at all and just very smoothe.

I haven't heard them. Read the review in Stereophile (not that I put much weight in pro reviews) and they are supposedly very good. For that price, I'd go with Revels and save some $$.

The darker finish is more bearable to me but I still don't care for the horizontal grain for $15,000. The good news is that is for a pair. Do they sound as good as Bose?

I heard them at a audio show last year. And I really, really liked them. They are just about the most dynamic, tight, natural speakers I've ever auditioned. I hope you get a chance to audition them.

There are only a few Klipsch dealers that are allowed to offer the Palladium series. KlipschKorner has a link to a list of Palladium dealers, as well as the Stereophile article and other reviews on them. www.klipschcorner.com/Default.aspxYou can also find the product information and a larger dealer list at the special Klipsch Palladium site: www.klipsch.com/palladium/These are indeed stunning speakers, both visually and sonically. If I didn't continue to have my 39 year love affair with Klipschorns (my present ones significantly modified), the Palladiums are the speakers I'd own.
