Hi all, I am newbie in this forum,
I search in the web and find the Emotiva products. At first appear very good quality an affordable price.
I want to buy the Xseries XLR cables but I want to know the capacitance per feet or meter. Anyone know, is rolled off in the high?
Thanks! Rubén

You might want to see if Emotiva will give you the specs on the cables. From the cables that I have heard from them, there is no roll off in the high end. Neutral, just like everything they do.
My assumption is that you want to know the capacitance to know if it will roll off the high end, correct? From what I have discovered on this subject matter is that it does not always relate. It depends on the overall design of the cable and how the manufacturer tests it. I have read where some companies have attributed high end roll off to capacitance and others to inductance. Your best bet is to give them a try and see how they sound for yourself.

HI Jlafren,
I ask to Emotiva and send the web page link for info, they only quoted capacitace for digital cables. Yes, the capacitance is related the High frecuency rolloff.
Thanks for your reply! Rubén
