how does one upgrade their member status? Can't be based on the number of posts.....since there are numerous "VIPs" that have less posts that I do.

If you buy any Emo equipment, then you can send an e-mail to one of the staff members asking them to upgrade you to VIP status. Otherwise, I think your member status depends on the number of posts you have made (not sure if it includes the deleted ones, haha..). |

Otherwise, I think your member status depends on the number of posts you have made (not sure if it includes the deleted ones, haha..). Only a couple of people have 4 stars. This was something that Dann G did shortly before his "melt-down" and it was based on passing a certain number of posts in the Lounge. This is the ONLY "status via stars" that is connected to the number of posts one makes. I don't believe any additional Lounge Members have received that special recognition since Dann G left. I suspect that Rachel would be the person to contact for a definitive explanation of all the Membership types and how you qualify for each of them. After all, she is now the new web mistress and took over Dann G's function at Emotiva. |
