Have not seen it in years, PQ is OK - DVD quality at best, SQ (DTS-HDMA 5.1) is very thin, lacking any dynamic range or bottom end, surround effects are sparse. Certainly not a reference disc by any means, the CGI looks very dated, although I remember it being pretty good 25yrs ago, still a fun movie to remind me of my younger days.

Some of the things I would do to Ms. Green are illegal in the great state of Tennessee. And, of course, taking her to another state to have her "read the phone book to me" would be considered the Man Act. Unless, of course, she drove me... becasue there's no such thing as the Woman Act. ;D

* This one is very well acted, a true story, well executed and totally realistic. But that story we all know too well as many of us has been there... Recommended viewing though for people into this genre. It has that definite touch of authenticity. Everything; the camera shots, the colors, the people moving, acting, interacting, reacting, the simple sounds of the tires on the snow, people walking in it, all has that realism to it. ...Do see it.

And for an opposing view - I liked Brother's Bloom - having rented it on DVD, I purchased the Blu-Ray when it came out. A fun, somewhat offbeat scam story. I liked it more than "What Doesn't Kill You" in fact.

Another valid evidence that taste differs between people. ...With Movies, as with Music, as with Art paintings, as with Women, as with Cars, as with Wines, as with pretty much anything in life... ______________________________ * Last night: -> Totally sucks!

And you and I continue on opposite wavelengths - I thought "Primeval" was fun - not great, but fun. Better than, for example "The Relic".

Brooklyn's Finest.
Good cop flick, twisty, but contrived ending, but good plot and performances from Cheadle, Snipes, Gere, etc.
