So I upgraded the firmware, ran EMOQ and it sounds pretty good. Only problem is it doesn't detect the sub. I checked the connections, the sub and everything seems to be OK.
It does seem to make a slight noise during EMOQ setup though when I go to Setup -> Levle Calibration and select he sub I hear nothing?
Am I doing something wrong? I haven't looked at this stuff in a few years so I may be missing something. The sub is a Cambridge Soundworks P500.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

did you have the sub set to auto on, or on that could be it.

It is set to ON.
I'm thinking this is die to the UMC since it always worked fine with it's predecessor, a Marantz AVR.
Thanks

No issues here on detecting the sub. Turn it on manually if you have it triggered as melogan1 has already said.. Also, try increasing the volume or reversing the phase on the sub just in case.

So after sleeping on it, I got it working (sort of).
If I shut the UMC off, run EMO/Q it finds the sub, but if I rerun EMO/Q it no longer detects it.
Strange...
