how do we (readers) respond to some of the reported issues? For example, ratmice indicated on 1/21 that the remote didn't work for the first 10 minutes. That's likely not an emotiva problem at all..it's caused by your LCD TV emitting random IR as it warms up. My Lexicon remote doesn't work until my Toshiba LCD warms up. If you start the Emotiva without the TV, I bet the remote works perfectly. I am having a few issues, but this isn't one of them. My remote has worked fine since I got the unit. I think you have me confused with someone else.

Hi Ratmice and GHStudio, First and foremost thanks for using this solution and it is not a perfect solution as there is an honor system on providing your true username. Trying to do authentication would be a challenge for me anyway. As for the follow-up, I am hoping Lonnie will respond in kind to the spreadsheet that they have edit access to. I have not had the opportunity to speak directly with them but did get a couple of emails supporting this concept. I will defer to their comments and once again thanks.

It's a great idea, hopefully it can be organized in some way to keep the duplicate problems from taking over. Thanks for taking the time to work it out.

Actually it's not an acronym at all (although "Stuff We All Get" sounds nice). It's a legitimate word. It really means "plunder, booty", coming from the pirate days referring to stolen goods (or free stuff). These days it's slang for cool free stuff (and not just stolen!).

Loot, booty, spoils, plunder. I DO believe you learn something everyday...I did.

Great job and a great idea. The only thing I can add is to have it sorted by Issue Report then Feature Request. Not sure if you have the option of doing that or not. Otherwise two different trackers should probably be implemented. Once it gets more data is going to get more and more difficult to sort through as it is now.

This may be a dumb question... but should we post issues that we are having that others have already entered in the sheet?
I did not see a way to add a "I am having this same problem" add me to the count or record my username".
I don't want to add duplicate stuff if it is not going to be helpful to Emotiva to see multiple instances of a problem.

This solution is partially dependent on us as forum members to treat this solution as an honor system reporting as an owner with true feedback and Emotiva to provide response. The master spreadsheet can be sorted by many different columns and I have been reaching out to Emotiva to be the stewards of the data. I really do appreciate everyone's comments as I think even though this solution has its limits it does offer value above burying so much issue and feature commentary into individual threads. I also hoped that it would be easy and fun to use providing us with a good tool to provide additional value to Emotiva who continue to be so open and interested in our views. regards, SnS

what is 'swag'? tchaik........... All previous incarnations of SWAG are incorrect A Swag is an Aussie product, like a small tent, bed for one person that rolls up and can be carried around (if need be) www.mrswagman.com.au/premium-deluxe.shtmlOriginally they were used by stockmen, to sleep in as the drove livestock to and from the highlands as the seasons changed. Top work SnS - I'm hoping most of the remaining issues are sorted before my number is up. It's a long way to send a big Emo box to Australia and your efforts here are to be comended. Cheers

What does Everyone think... should we enter duplicate issues? Or since I look through the sheet and see an entry that describes the same problem as I am having... leave it as "well enough".

Once is enough. ;D
Duplicate entries are not needed.
Thanks,

Actually there are several different definitions of "swag". All of them completely different.
There's the Aussie version: rolled-up bundle. There's the British: to sway or a swaying, lurching movement. Also: a suspended wreath, garland And the one I mentioned before (relevant context): plunder, booty.

I didn't see it change after 5-10 mins or so, so I figured I didn't have access to edit, that's when I messaged you. I guess it just takes a while to propagate. Thanks.
