No... you should leave the sub at 80hz as too much higher and you could start to hear localization from the subwoofer. Also you can try switching the crossover slopes of the sub and fronts between 12 and 24 to see witch sounds best to you.

To avoid dropping off frequencies between the sun & the receiver/pre-pro and especially if you areusing the sub in series with the mains, you should set the frequency control on the sub to be as high as possible - but certainly higher than the crossover frequency in the receiver/pre/pro.
e.g. my sub setting ius at 120Hz but it is crossed over at 80 Hz in the UMC-1. I am not using it in series with the mains.
