Recently I was reading another tread about subwoofer EQ, and keep asking myself why Emotiva still doesn't produce it Lots of Emo customers like their exiting pre-pros/receivers and has no plans to upgrade them, but will buy such a unit for sure (me included) Funny thing - all necessary components already has been designed by Emotiva team (for UMC) and exists! All you need is just put it together in a separate unit... I think it could be named as Ultra [series] Subwoofer Assistance (-1!?) Preferably with: Rear side something like this: - 3 XLR/RCA inputs - 1. LFE and 2. L-R inputs - 6 XLR/RCA outputs - 2. L-R XLR/RCA outputs and 4. XLR sub outputs - composite RCA video output for OSD - probably RJ-45 connector (communicate with computer and automatic FW upgrades) - 12VDC trigger input and output Front side, regular aluminum plate with Mic input (for Emo EQ) and center mounted Emotiva power button BTW this unit could use bass management which was discussed in another tread So, what do you think about Emotiva USA-1 ;D

They might sell, but there is already a competitive subwoofer EQ field out there. Also, many EQ products are integrated into current AVR's. Emotiva's historical performance with electronic/software based equipment hasn't been that stellar.
