Need opinions.
I'm in a very small room 10' 10" by 11'
Should I go with a single JL F110 or a SVS PC-12 NSD with a SMS-1
Thanks,
Matt

What are you using it for -- HT, music, etc? Listening habits? Other equipment? etc...

It will be 99% HT and 1% music. I have an SMS-1 with an Onkyo TX-SR876.

Are you getting a deal on that JL ? Otherwise I would say go with the hot water heater ( SVS ) at 30% of the cost of the JL. Are those the only subs you are looking at right now? I have two eD A5-300s in a room one foot bigger then yours. ;D

I can get the jl for the same price as the svs and the sms together if I got the jl I'd sell the sms since the jl has an eq

It's hard to say, but I would lean towards the JL, but like Radtech, I'm a music guy. For 99% HT, the SVS and SMS will get the job done pretty well. I think both have about the same FR roughly, but IMO the JL will have superior sound quality in both HT and music with more slam. Maybe someday you could add a second JL for some serious output.

where do you guys think that 2 Ultra 10's would stack up In a room that small I would think very well and save some serious change as well. A pair of Elemental Designs A3S-250s are $600 delivered and the SMS-1 EQ would work well with them.

Well looks like I missed the JL so now I need to decide between a SVS PC-12NSD or 2 ultra 10's or 2 A3s-250's
The ED's are cheaper but the Ultra's seem to have a better driver

I would go with the SVS and the SMS-1 simply because with your room dimensions you are going to need some room correction. Acoustically, a square room is not ideal.
