Hey all.
It's been a while since I have been on the boards...if any of you remember, I had found out that mt ex-GF was pregnant and life was making a huge left turn on me...
Anyway, things have worked out pretty good and we are back together. The due date for my son is August 22, and we have decided to name him Mathew Dean. Mathew because we wanted something Biblical and Matthew is the first book of the new testament.
The reason for the different spelling is because more tragedy struck, and a dear friend of mine passed away from an accidental overdose. It was a real bad deal...I am still grieving his loss and for his parents.
His name was Mathew, and when I asked his parents if they thought it was ok if I named my son Mathew in honor of him, they were really happy about it. His mom actually cried and they thought it was a great idea.
His middle name is Dean because her grandfathers middle name is Dean and she wanted to name our son after him.
Anyway, after some really tough times, things are beginning to finally smooth out. I also convinced the GF that I really deserved to get some new gear since I haven't bought anything for a few months, and I am getting caught up financially.
So...I pulled the trigger and ordered up an Ultra 12" sub and a USP-1. I had actually already bought a USP-1 but it had an issue with the 12v triggers, and my life was sort of falling apart for a bit so I ended up just returning it at the time.
Sorry for the long post but I just thought I would give an update about how things have been/are going for me. I am super excited to get my new Emo gear and will try to give a full write up after I receive it and have time to play around with it for a bit.
