Hello Is it possible for my UMC-1 and My USP-1 to share my one sub, you would only have to make sure you didn't have both amps on at the same time correct and just use a y splitter for the two LFE cables from the amps into the sub, Please correct me if I am wrong and then just use the bass management on the preamps and bypass the bass management on the Velodyne right, sense does this make any haha

The reason the USP-1 has the 'BYPASS" switch on it is so that you can share the two front speakers, the sub woofer, and the two front amp channels. There is no need to an extra power amp, another sub or the Y-cable to the sub. It is really very straightforward... just follow the hookup diagram in the USP-1's Owner's Manual. KISS -- Keep It Simple Stupid. Just route the pre-outs for the FR, FL and Sub on the UMC-1 to the appropriate inputs on the USP-1. Then run the outputs from the USP-1 to the power amp and the sub woofer. Note: Do Not Use the Full Range outputs if you intended to use the BYPASS feature. When you push the button to BYPASS the USP-1 becomes a "straight wire" and the UMC-1 is in total control. Turn off the BYPASS switch and the USP-1 is controlling the FR, FL and Sub. Using the BYPASS ability of the USP-1 allows you to share the the amp and sub woofer with both your 2-channel system and your HT system. No need for complicating double wiring nor need to use y-adapters. Sticksnstones has an excellent illustration of the connections in his post in the USER REVIEW subsection. It is very easy to follow. emotivalounge.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=prepro&thread=6678&page=1#97198I hope this makes it clear what the connections have to be.
