I need to split one rca out from my Integra pre amp to 4 rca's on my UPA5 (I have rear dipoles with two tweeters and two woofers in each speaker that I am amping all drivers individually {passive crossovers}). Can anyone tell me if I passively split the rca from one y adaptor then to two y adaptors (which gives me 1 rca out to 4 rca outs) would work or would the signal be two low. Would I need an active rca splitter (amplifier) and if so, does any body have some recommendations. Thanks.

If it were me I would not go this route. I'm sure others will agree. In most cases you are not going to hear any difference. Im sure someone will chime in here and explain as to why. No need to complicate things for little if any benefit. Just my .02

Eventually I will be using active crossovers, which will have an internal amplified splitter. However in the mean time I would like to get them working with the passive crossovers.

Oh. Then that makes more sense. I was going to suggest you make it active but its more complicated than most want to try to do.

Does anybody from Emotiva have an answer to the rca splitting? I don't want to spend $50-$100 on splitters only to find out I should of bought an amplified splitter.

Yes, those splitters will work, but my question is can I use thre of these for a 1 to 4 way split from me pre to my UPA5 and it still work or do I need an active (amplification) splitter?
