I know that the lights are just a reference in that 3 lights do not equal a specific wattage. But, are they relative to a percentage of power used? If I'm right there are 12 lights per channel on the XPA-2; does each one represent 1/12 of the power available?

I am not positive, but I think Lonnie once said that the LED lights are logrythmic rather than linear.

From Wikipedia: "Logarithmic scales are either defined for ratios of the underlying quantity, or one has to agree to measure the quantity in fixed units. Deviating from these units means that the logarithmic measure will change by an additive constant. The base of the logarithm also has to be specified, unless the scale's value is considered to be a dimensional quantity expressed in generic (indefinite-base) logarithmic units." So what is the base or what is the multiplier? I'm not trying to challenge or anything. I'm just currious. I love the sound of my amp and I'm barely driving it. Even when I turn the dial on my UMC-1 to 60 (normal listening is done at 25-35) I'm barely getting a few lights. I know I have tons of room left in the amp, I'm just currious as to how much I'm using.
