Thanks to Jamscape for selling me his brand new pair. Too cold for outdoors yet so for fun I put them on the stands in the living room where my Snell J7 sit.
Pretty impressive. Decent imaging and presentation. Relatively neutral - perhaps just a "tad" forward. Not overwhelming in the bass department but more than adequate for patio or outdoor duty. They play pretty loud as well w/out becoming fatiguing..
I'm going to pair these w/Velo impact mini sub in my screen porch as soon as I close it in :-)
I have Boston Acoustics Voyager 5's out there now and they are nice, but not near as smooth. They also have a smaller driver and the tweet is not as good. Plus they cost $350.00...and the BA's are white..well they used to be, but after 6 years outside they look pretty dingy. I recommend the black ones...
