Need to purchase new XLR interconnects. Length will be 0.5m short cables. Willing to spend up to +/- $50 per cable ($100 per pair). Prefer Neutrik connectors w/gold plated pins.
What are you using and why??

Emo, price. With that short of a run I wouldn't worry about spending too much money on the cables, unless you have known interference in that short of a distance.

Hi Cougar I use the Outlaw Audio PCB Balanced Audio Interconnect Cables www.outlawaudio.com/products/cab_pcb_about.html.5 meter is $12.95 each and shipping isn't too bad. I ordered and it was sent via FedEx Next Day or 2 day shipping. Why I use them? These were cheaper than .5 meter Mogami 2534 XLR cables on eBay. Quality is sick for the price. They are thick cables and the connectors are quality as well. I use them in a headphone amp set-up and to me the sound is great. I have nothing else to compare to but then I have no SQ issues so I really don't want or need to do a comparison. A warning though these cables can be hard to bend. I'll try to post pics tonight.
