You did well, the cables you bought are excellent. The Neutrik XLR connectors are considered the studio reference and Mogami wire is as well.
This is high quality without high price.
Pro Audio LA is a very good place to get cables, especially custom made cables.

cool thank you!
Ill probably use them again in the future...realistically the only reason i even wanted the EMO cables was because it a full Emo system minus the speakers and I just like the look of the emo cables.....then again i dont spend alot of time looking at the back of the gear either but i do like the solid connection of an xlr and the ease of doing so.

Loving the Cables...very nice look and feel to them and the sound...well i personally cant tell the difference but thats not why i bought them lol......
I will say the connectors are a WHOLE LOT nicer than what the picture from ProaudioLA shows.......I seriously thought i got the wrong cables at first.

Excellent cables. A friend has a studio and they use those cables.

Canare Star Quad and Mogami 2534 are both the industry standard for balanced cables. I've heard, and read, about tons of studio guys arguing which is better... and I figure if they can't tell which is better with thousands of feet of it, many in hundreds of feet worth of runs, I don't have to worry about my pidly 3 foot cables.
