Just stumbled upon this thread -- since I only own an Emotiva receiver and not an amp (yet), I hadn't really looked at the Pre/Pro posts up until now. I do hereby nominate myself as The One With The Most Humble Setup! I live in a tiny NYC apartment with living room that measures only -- get this -- 9' x 16'. Yup, a whopping 144 sq ft! I'm posting these sad little pics for my great-great-grandchilden's sake, so they can see many years from now that everyone has to start somewhere. (As an aside...why do I have -1 karma? I've only posted 5 times and already people want to smite me? ) Yours may be a humble setup, but at least your making the best of what you've got. And I might add that you're in good company. Look through the post and you won't see a lot of very expensive gear, but you'll see a lot of great "bang-for-the-buck" gear, including of course Emotiva, which goes to prove that you don't have to be rich to have an "audiophile" quality system. Since you're a fellow Emo owner like me trying to do the best he can on a tight budget, I'll go ahead and slap some karma on ya.

Leetam, I think you slapped some negative karma on him =) Since I grew up on the Island, and I'm watching the Giants right now in the Super Bowl, I'm hookin him up with a bit of Positve karma

Here is an awesome one of mine after getting my gear today and doing some A/B testing against my Denon. For speakers the Klipsch are on the right and new Monitor Audio's on the left.

I actually tore it all down. I have to pull everything out and redo it in the entertainment center. I just got a pair of my cables back and have to finish the second set. Hope to have some time on Thursday to complete it.
As far as the new gear I need to get it setup properly and do some calibration before I can make a judgment. It is going to take a little time for my ears to adjust. I did notice more mids in the new gear, but lacking vocals. Hopefully setup will take care of this. Also noticed when I crank it the Denon starts to run out of steam and the LPA-1 keeps going.
I'll post new pics when I get it all set up.

tjhub, is your Elite the Pro-730hdi? If so, I have the same TV No, mine's just a little older. I don't have the "i". But yes, it is an Elite PRO-730HD. The difference is mine has DVI and no HDMI.

When you reply in the 'add tags' select add picture, and put in an address in between the tags. If you dont have your pictures online, photobucket is easy and fast, and free to use.

Here are a couple of pics of the new gear. The first one is of the uninstall of all the old gear. I bet everyone likes that sweet plant blocking the view of the LPA-1. What can I say, I'm pretty good at photography. And with the new gear. GRILLS OFF for everyone who asked!!!
