you will want to make sure there is about 9" from the bottom shelf to the bottom of the next shelf if for say the XPA-2 is sitting on the bottom.....

Aren't we talking about racks? Or did we digress to pillows??? I'd go to the Sanus site, look up that part number, and get the specs for weight & dimensions. Then compare those specs with the weight and dimensions of your equipment. I don't see where you will have any problem with the air movement over the components. Just make sure things will fit and the stand won't fail due to the weight, whether at individual shelf locations or overall load.

yes the amp will fit perfectly with a 9" gap and give about an inch to breath.
keep in mind your cables WILL be hanging off the back of the amp

Some of the sanus stuff is pretty weak, I would watch weight limits and treat it gently.

My Sanus rack (4 shelves) rocked back and forth, to and fro.

Well. The way I am. If it is not rigid I don't want it. I hate cheap stands.

Did you see this review When received in the mail, I assembled the unit and after 24 hours, only 50 pounds of force, the unit collapsed It could cost you more down the road when you trash your gear

Ya, tha'll do just fine. ;D * I like horizontal racks myself, over vertical ones. It's more 2012 mode.
