Ok, say I pick up a VTF15 and a MBM-12. Do you simply use a y adapter to hook them up to your sub output and treat it as "one" subwoofer? I have receiver that can dial in 2 subs (denon 4311) but I am thinking since the mbm is not really a "subwoofer" per se that this is the route to go. then when I add a second vtf 15 and mbm that one could go on the second sub output? Does this make sense? Depending on performance maybe I would not want a second mbm and would just go with another vtf15. there is a very local ad for a mbm and 15 near me so I was thinking of trying them out if I can get a decent price. However, I am pretty darn happy with my dual mfw-15's in Rosewood and they are soooooo much nicer to look at.. decisions decisions..

I have heard the MFW-15 a few different times and I own the HSU VTF-15 and in my opinion the HSU is a big improvement!
Maybe if I had more time with the MFW I would think differently but I doubt it.
I used to have a pb13 ultra and the Vtf-15 is close to the SVS in many ways for half the price.
I am not sure if I would buy the MBM-12 or not I will probably add another VTF-15. Or maybe a rythmik or SVS SB13-plus

The MFW does have a very nice cabinet. I like the looks of the vtf-15 as well but it is big! I have the black HSU and the finish is pretty nice although the gloss black PB13 ultra I sold looked better.
I may not be wanting more mid-bass slam because my mains (legacy focus Hd) have 4 very capable 12in drivers!

It's kinda funny because there are two VTF 15's from 2 different people local to me. One also has the mbm. The guy with both wants too much for them at this point though. For what he is asking, if I wait for a sale from Hsu, I can get new for the same price including shipping. I want a DEAL! :-)

It's how I am able to swap out toys so much! The one guy wants $1200 for the pair (vtf 15 and mdm mk2)which are about a month old. The other guy wants $800 for his VTF but it has some cosmetic issues on the top with some light scratches that would bother me...or maybe not.. The pair is a good deal if you are looking to buy it NOW but I am pretty damn happy with my MFW-15's but always like to play with new toys.

I dont think either deal is good unless you really need them , I have seen VTF-15H go for 600-700 and MBM-12 for 300-350

agreed on the price! I want the lightly scratched up one for about $500, and the pair from the other guy for $900 just because they are newer and have boxes, etc.
